Ap\u00f3s o suic\u00eddio de Michael, seu \u00fanico amigo, ingressa no primeiro ano do ensino m\u00e9dio e conhece Patrick (Ezra Miller) e Sam (Emma Watson). O filme \u00e9 baseado no livro de mesmo nome e h\u00e1 muito mais na obra que apenas um <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">coming of age movie<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Nesse sentido, a cena de abertura \u00e9 extremamente feliz ao nos apresentar o personagem principal. Sozinho em seu quarto, escrevendo uma carta narrando os seus receios quanto \u00e0 escola, n\u00e3o temos dificuldade em acreditar que Charlie \u00e9 um rapaz t\u00edmido e recluso.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Desde o come\u00e7o percebemos um enorme cuidado da obra no desenvolvimento da hist\u00f3ria e de seus personagens. A grande sensibilidade por parte da dire\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 evidente. Assim, n\u00e3o \u00e9 uma surpresa o fato do diretor Stephen Chbosky ser o respons\u00e1vel n\u00e3o apenas pelo roteiro do filme como tamb\u00e9m pelo livro em si.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">O tema central abordado \u00e9 o modo como relacionamentos &#8211; em especial a amizade &#8211; podem afetar indiv\u00edduos com traumas pessoais. E isso \u00e9 feito de maneira exemplar. A intera\u00e7\u00e3o entre os personagens e o modo como cada um lida com a sua carga emocional faz com que seja dif\u00edcil n\u00e3o se relacionar, ainda que minimamente, a algum deles.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-7356 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/cinematologia.com.br\/cine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/3-1.jpg?resize=663%2C377&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"663\" height=\"377\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/cinematologia.com.br\/cine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/3-1.jpg?w=663&amp;ssl=1 663w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/cinematologia.com.br\/cine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/3-1.jpg?resize=300%2C171&amp;ssl=1 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 663px) 100vw, 663px\" \/><\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">O trio de protagonistas conta com Patrick, cujo namorado tem dificuldades em lidar com a pr\u00f3pria sexualidade. Sam, sua irm\u00e3, sofreu abusos nas m\u00e3os do chefe de seu pai quando tinha onze anos e, posteriormente, de alunos mais velhos, que a embebedavam para terem vantagens.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Charlie, em especial, recebe um tratamento mais delicado. Os acontecimentos de seu passado possuem rela\u00e7\u00e3o intr\u00ednseca com a sua raz\u00e3o de ser no presente. Suas d\u00favidas e inseguran\u00e7as n\u00e3o s\u00e3o aquelas de um adolescente comum. A culpa que sente acaba por mascarar circunst\u00e2ncias traum\u00e1ticas do seu passado, com o qual n\u00e3o sabe lidar de maneira correta.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Sua introvers\u00e3o decorre de seu trauma, sendo o seu mecanismo de defesa a tantos problemas. Nesse sentido, sua rela\u00e7\u00e3o com os extrovertidos Sam e Patrick &#8211; e, posteriormente, todo o grupo &#8211; trazem a tona certos temas pouco abordados em filmes do g\u00eanero, como depress\u00e3o, suic\u00eddio e abusos sexuais, o que refor\u00e7a o car\u00e1ter diferenciado do filme. Dylan McDermott e Kate Walsh, como pais de Charlie<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, Nina Dobrev, como Candace. Paul Rudd, conhecido por seus pap\u00e9is c\u00f4micos, entrega uma performance pequena, mas significativa como Mr. Anderson, professor de Literatura Inglesa de Charlie. Conta, ainda, com um dos di\u00e1logos mais lembrados do longa:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-7354 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/cinematologia.com.br\/cine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/1-1.jpg?resize=400%2C518&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"518\"><\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">O trabalho do roteiro \u00e9 extremamente competente, sobretudo nos di\u00e1logos que s\u00e3o n\u00e3o apenas cr\u00edveis como instigantes. H\u00e1 uma grande fluidez, com cenas inicialmente c\u00f4micas transformadas em cenas carregadas de dramaticidade. Tudo isso com uma admir\u00e1vel naturalidade e rapidez. Em momento algum essa transi\u00e7\u00e3o parece for\u00e7ada.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">O resultado final \u00e9 uma obra marcante do g\u00eanero, que aborda a adolesc\u00eancia &#8211; momento conturbado na vida de todos &#8211; com extrema sensatez e sensibilidade.
