Com suas tr\u00eas irm\u00e3s, mais uma a nascer, \u00e9 mandada para passar o ver\u00e3o com parentes distantes, Eibhl\u00edn Cinnsealach (Carrie Crowley) e Se\u00e1n Cinnsealach (Andrew Bennett), tendo que se adaptar \u00e0 nova vida.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">H\u00e1 muitos fatores \u201cextracampo\u201d que tornam essa uma obra indispens\u00e1vel em um \u00f3timo ano para o Cinema. Baseado no livro \u201c<em>Foster<\/em>\u201d, de Claire Keegan, tornou-se a maior bilheteria da Hist\u00f3ria de um longa irland\u00eas sendo, inclusive, escolhido para representar o pa\u00eds na disputa de Melhor Filme Internacional de 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Com uma narrativa lenta e comedida, <em>The Quiet Girl<\/em> pode, em um primeiro momento, parecer n\u00e3o fazer jus ao <em>hype<\/em> supracitado, todavia, \u00e9 imprescind\u00edvel n\u00e3o confundir complexidade desnecess\u00e1ria com qualidade. Trata-se, certamente, de uma hist\u00f3ria simples e direta, contudo, em sua simplicidade consegue trazer camadas interessantes que, outrora, n\u00e3o seriam poss\u00edveis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"790\" height=\"790\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/cinematologia.com.br\/cine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/1-1.jpg?resize=790%2C790&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-31535\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/cinematologia.com.br\/cine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/1-1.jpg?w=1600&amp;ssl=1 1600w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/cinematologia.com.br\/cine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/1-1.jpg?resize=768%2C768&amp;ssl=1 768w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/cinematologia.com.br\/cine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/1-1.jpg?resize=1536%2C1536&amp;ssl=1 1536w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 790px) 100vw, 790px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Aqui temos uma dentre muitas representa\u00e7\u00f5es de abuso infantil, mas, ao contr\u00e1rio de gritos e exageros \u2013 que, \u00e9 claro, podem ocorrer em eventos do g\u00eanero e n\u00e3o os deslegitimam \u2013 h\u00e1 a introspec\u00e7\u00e3o. O modo como C\u00e1it se retrai em si mesma carrega um qu\u00ea de realismo que certamente ir\u00e1 reverberar com certas pessoas, ao mesmo tempo em que tocar\u00e1 \u2013 e, possivelmente, assustar\u00e1 \u2013 outras. Nesse sentido, toda a narrativa e produ\u00e7\u00e3o contribuem para um conto intimista sobre uma jovem menina que n\u00e3o tem as ferramentas emocionais necess\u00e1rias para lidar com a sua situa\u00e7\u00e3o atual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Sendo o caso, seria imposs\u00edvel n\u00e3o mencionar o belo trabalho t\u00e9cnico feito pelo diretor\/roteirista Colm Bair\u00e9ad na manuten\u00e7\u00e3o do ritmo lento da pel\u00edcula, sem medo de manter a dura\u00e7\u00e3o das cenas que, em outras m\u00e3os, poderiam se tornar \u201cmais din\u00e2micas\u201d meramente por capricho. H\u00e1 um desconforto com o desenrolar da hist\u00f3ria que \u00e9 necess\u00e1rio. Ao mesmo tempo, \u00e9 bom lembrar, tamb\u00e9m, a contribui\u00e7\u00e3o de Kate McCullough, diretora de fotografia, em especial na escolha da propor\u00e7\u00e3o de tela 4:3, o que aumenta a sensa\u00e7\u00e3o de imers\u00e3o, quase como se fosse um v\u00eddeo caseiro. E, ainda, seria relapso n\u00e3o mencionar a atua\u00e7\u00e3o de Catherine Clinch que, em que pese a tenra idade \u2013 12 anos \u00e0 \u00e9poca de publica\u00e7\u00e3o deste texto \u2013 transmite, com sinceridade, as complexas emo\u00e7\u00f5es necess\u00e1rias \u00e0 obra.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"660\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/cinematologia.com.br\/cine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/2.jpg?resize=660%2C360&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-31536\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Dessa forma, a catarse emocional do filme reside n\u00e3o necessariamente na viv\u00eancia, por parte da audi\u00eancia, de situa\u00e7\u00f5es semelhantes \u2013 apesar de que a essas pessoas o efeito certamente ser\u00e1 mais profundo \u2013, mas sim em uma empatia humana natural. A conex\u00e3o com uma jovem menina em uma situa\u00e7\u00e3o t\u00e3o complexa e de dif\u00edcil resolu\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 quase que consequ\u00eancia natural do roteiro e trabalho de produ\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Nesse sentido, <em>The Quiet Girl<\/em> \u00e9 o tipo de longa-metragem que atrai, no m\u00ednimo, a curiosidade de todos aqueles interessados na s\u00e9tima arte, em especial considerando o qu\u00e3o diversa e, francamente, interessante, vem sendo a categoria de Melhor Filme Internacional.
