L\u00e1, recebe \u201ctratamento\u201d do Reverendo Rick (John Gallagher Jr.) e de sua irm\u00e3 Dra. Lydia Marsh (Jennifer Ehle) para cur\u00e1-la de sua atra\u00e7\u00e3o pelo mesmo sexo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Contudo, ao mesmo tempo em que \u00e9 exposta a um constante abuso emocional disfar\u00e7ado de terapia, pela primeira vez tem a chance de se conectar a pessoas que entendem pelo que est\u00e1 passando. Desse modo, rapidamente faz amizade com Jane (Sasha Lane) e Adam (Forrest Goodluck) e, assim, passa a descobrir mais sobre si mesma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"359\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/cinematologia.com.br\/cine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/1-e1542154304818.jpeg?resize=640%2C359&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14013\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vencedor do Grande Pr\u00eamio do J\u00fari do Festival de Sundance de 2018, <em>O Mau Exemplo de Cameron Post<\/em> aborda a tem\u00e1tica de despertar sexual de uma maneira pouco usual, uma vez que cont\u00e9m bastante cinismo e sarcasmo, t\u00edpico da faixa et\u00e1ria dos personagens foco. Cameron \u00e9 for\u00e7ada por seus guardi\u00f5es conservadores a permanecer nesse centro de convers\u00e3o para jovens, e a diretora Desiree Akhavan escolhe escancarar o absurdo da situa\u00e7\u00e3o por meio da com\u00e9dia, uma metodologia diferenciada em contos do tipo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>N\u00e3o \u00e9 de se falar, ressalta-se, que o longa \u00e9 desprovido de drama e\/ou seriedade. Ao contr\u00e1rio, quando ocorrem, s\u00e3o extremamente impactantes, justamente por haver essa justaposi\u00e7\u00e3o entre os g\u00eaneros. Assim, a chave para o sucesso da narrativa est\u00e1, justamente, na correta transi\u00e7\u00e3o entre leveza e seriedade, o que, felizmente, \u00e9 feito com maestria, jamais parecendo artificial ou for\u00e7ada. Concomitantemente, o ritmo r\u00e1pido da hist\u00f3ria em nenhum momento se arrasta, tornando a experi\u00eancia flu\u00edda e natural.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O roteiro, por\u00e9m, n\u00e3o busca desenvolver cada membro individualmente. Ao contr\u00e1rio, \u00e0 audi\u00eancia \u00e9 informado por qual motivo cada um deles se encontra no local, mas, via de regra, nada mais \u00e9 dito acerca de sua individualidade. Nesse sentido, tem-se o pr\u00f3prio centro de convers\u00e3o como um \u2013 importante \u2013 personagem. Isto porque se explora, de um jeito coletivo, a forma como funciona o dito tratamento e a maneira pela qual \u00e9 internalizado pelos residentes, cada qual com a sua peculiaridade. H\u00e1, assim, um forte senso de \u201cser\u201d do centro de convers\u00e3o, quase como uma entidade pr\u00f3pria e, portanto, integrante da obra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/cinematologia.com.br\/cine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/2-5-e1542154309882.jpg?resize=640%2C360&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14014\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Contudo, essa aus\u00eancia de desenvolvimento \u00e9 sentida no decorrer do conto, sobretudo quando consideramos todas as possibilidades a serem exploradas por esse meio. A hist\u00f3ria conta com fortes traumas individuais, de modo que \u00e9 um dos raros casos de um longa que se beneficiaria de mais tempo de tela. Nem mesmo o trio principal recebe a devida aten\u00e7\u00e3o, diminuindo, de um modo geral, a sua jornada de amadurecimento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De qualquer forma, no que diz respeito \u00e0 atua\u00e7\u00e3o, tem-se que n\u00e3o h\u00e1 pontos negativos no filme. Chlo\u00eb Grace Moretz d\u00e1 vida \u00e0 Cameron Post, em uma performance contida, mas ainda assim impactante. Owen Campbell interpreta Mark, outro jovem no centro de convers\u00e3o que, em determinada cena, hipnotiza a audi\u00eancia de maneira t\u00e3o intensa que chega a impressionar. Ao mesmo tempo, tal fator torna mais evidente a problem\u00e1tica levantada no par\u00e1grafo anterior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"639\" height=\"335\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/cinematologia.com.br\/cine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/4-4-e1542154339695.jpg?resize=639%2C335&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14016\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sendo assim, tem-se que <em>O Mau Exemplo de Cameron Post<\/em> cumpre, com folga, a sua fun\u00e7\u00e3o. Sua tem\u00e1tica mais sarc\u00e1stica o difere de outros longas do g\u00eanero sem diminuir a sua import\u00e2ncia. Pelo contr\u00e1rio, ela o torna acess\u00edvel a um p\u00fablico alvo diferente, aumentando o alcance de sua mensagem.
