NYCC: ‘Tell Me A Story’ Second Season

(CINEMATOLOGIA USA)

We got the chance to interview the “Tell Me A Story” showrunner Kevin Williamson and stars Odette Annable, Paul Wesley, Danielle Campbell, Eka Darville, Carrie-Anne Moss, and Natalie Alyn Lind this weekend at New York Comic Con. The actors shared a little about their roles and what they expect from this new season that has nothing to do with the first, as the creator said.

The series is being filmed in Nashville and promises to have a lot of music, mystery and affectionate ties.
This season we will meet a different version of Disney princesses, with a lot of deep dark twists.

Carrie-Anne Moss

Carrie-Anne Moss will play the mother of three characters and she’ll have an important role on the show.

Natalie Alyn Lind

Natalie Alyn Lind will play “the beast” a young singer who is disfigured in a horrible accident.

Eka Darville will play the “beauty” a cop who has some dark secrets of his own. Eka told us how cool he think it is to have a black man playing the “beauty” in the story, which is something that he never thought would happen.

Eka Darville

The showrunner stated that he wants to bring the beast as “powerful and fearless” so he thought that the female figure could be more interesting, and he spared no praise when referring to Natalie, who said that we’ll see some musical scenes on the show.
Sleeping Beauty will definitely not be a princess asleep in a tower waiting for her Prince Charming to come along.

Paul Wesley

Paul Wesley will play Tucker, a man who is engaged to Odette Annable’s character but is clearly obsessed with Danielle Campbell’s character, the Sleeping Beauty.
All stories will be intertwined and will have a lot of dark secrets to bring mystery and suspense to the plot.

Danielle Campbell

Exploring an entirely new set of fairy tales and characters, the 10-episode second season will feature the stories that will be intertwined and will bring dark secrets to bring mystery and suspense to the plot.

We’ll meet the Pruitt family as they navigate love, loss, romance, and terror against the iconic backdrop of Music in Tennessee.
We’ll also see the stars Matt Lauria (Jackson Pruitt) and Ashley Madekwe (Simone Garland). Garcelle Beauvais (Veronica Garland), Caleb Castille (Ron), and Christopher Meyer (Derek) round out the cast with recurring roles.

The second season is still partway through filming, they’re only up to Episode 6, and things are currently still changing.

Kevin Williamson’s psychological thriller returns to CBS All Access on Thursday, december 5.

The trailer for the upcoming season also debuted at the event, and it looks amazing!
Classic tales Beauty and the Beast, Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella take center stage in the new season.
